A practical answer, then the next step.

Start with the task below. Your image stays in the local MedCam workspace.

Start with a photo

Open MedCam or a dedicated photo workflow. Use Upload to open a supported image from your device, or start the browser camera and grant permission when asked. Manual capture is the dependable starting mode; automatic hints are experimental.

Prepare the scene first: an evenly lit film or paper, a steady device, the complete border and readable labels. The guide library has material-specific preparation steps.

Camera will not start

Check that you opened the HTTPS website in a supported browser and allowed camera permission. Another app may be using the camera. Controls such as torch, zoom and focus only appear when the active browser and camera expose them.

If the browser camera remains unavailable, take a photo with your device camera and upload that file. Read camera troubleshooting and browser compatibility.

The saved photo looks blurry or has glare

Improve the original capture before adding stronger processing. Stabilize the device, reduce reflections, keep the sheet within the frame and inspect the saved image at a useful scale. A score cannot certify that a label or fine detail is readable.

Use the blur and glare guide and the retake checklist.

Download again or choose a file format

After one successful upload or capture, you can download again without uploading a second time while the image remains in the tab. Original download preserves the opened file separately from derived JPG, PNG or PDF exports. Keep the original when making adjustments.

A PDF is a convenient communication document; it does not turn a photograph into a DICOM study. The experimental UMF package has its own format documentation. Check the file format guide before choosing a format.

Privacy, sharing and website support

MedCam processes images in your browser. Using native Share or downloading creates a copy handled by your device and chosen destination. Inspect visible identifiers and metadata before sharing; see safer sharing.

If a feature still fails, contact SUNDO.live with the page, device/browser and steps. Use a synthetic example. Public tools do not need an account; the private dashboard is only for the authorized publisher.
