Advertising and medical-image workspace policy

Current state: the release includes a verification meta tag on the MedCam homepage, while eligible published journal articles may load the publisher-provided Google AdSense script. No approval or live ad serving is claimed. Camera and admin workspaces remain ad-free.

Camera workspace must remain ad-free

We will not place ad slots inside a live camera preview, upload dialog, original/derived image viewer, image controls, export buttons, share panel, PDF or UMF viewer, or validation workspace. The website will not offer rewarded ads or require an ad click before image download.

Editorial pages are separate

Only eligible non-sensitive journal pages are configured to load the AdSense script. Published article quality, ad placement, accessibility and Google-certified consent/CMP handling where required must be reviewed before monetization. A script does not establish AdSense approval or authorize ads on every page. Camera and admin workspaces retain restrictive security settings; journal pages use a separate Content Security Policy.

Privacy boundaries

We do not authorize advertisers to receive medical-image pixels, image-derived labels, patient names, medical diagnoses, file metadata or per-image processing state. Visiting a medical photography website alone should not become a basis for personalized targeting of sensitive health interests.

Approval is not guaranteed

Original content, truthful operator information, site usability and compliance with Google policies remain essential. This policy is not an AdSense approval certificate. See the editorial policy and privacy notice.
